Annual Assessment

An annual assessment of up to $100 per cabin and $40 per lot is required each year to cover insurance costs, legal costs, road lighting and road maintenance. The board may assess a lesser amount or ask for a majority vote to increase the amount.   New in 2025, "The Board of Directors of the Pinehaven Planning Board shall also have the powers to assess each property owner up to $200 a year for snow removal, road maintenance, or other activities as authorized by the Amended Protective Covenants for Pinehaven and North Pinehaven."
Annual Assessment Notices (Invoices) are emailed to homeowners in the Spring,  (April/May).  Payments are due by
May 15 and can be paid online from the invoice or by sending a check to the address shown on the invoice.  Please contact the Treasurer of the Pinehaven Planning Board if you have any questions.  Any letters sent out for late payments will incur an additional $25 fee for each letter.

ANNUAL ASSESSMENTS ARE DUE MAY 15 EACH YEAR.

Snowplow fund Contribution

The Pinehaven Cooperative Snow Plowing Program maintains Pinehaven roads during the winter.  Find a description of this program and how it runs here.   Thank you for your cooperation and support of this program.

Snowplow Fund Contributions
Weekender.............: $200
Full-time..................: $300
Weekender: $200  for the weekend service) for owners who use their cabins during the winter or would like guaranteed winter access. Driveways will be plowed once a week on Thursday or before a mid-week holiday. Only main arteries will be cleared if a storm occurs on a Saturday or Sunday.  Please note that you should not expect your driveway to be clear if you come up on a Thursday.
Residential: $300 (for full-time service) for year-round residents or anyone requiring assured access on a frequent basis. This ensures that driveways are plowed as conditions dictate.

SnowPlow Fund Contributions are due November 1 each year.

Payment: Please make your check payable to the Pinehaven Planning Board and return it with the Pinehaven and North Pinehaven Contributions Form no later than November 1.   Download the form here.  Your cabin address is important so we know which cabins need to be plowed. Your check should be mailed to the address on the form.

Late Fee: Please send in your payment no later than November 1 each year, if you choose to participate in the Weekender or Residential plow program. Due to problems the Board has had over the years, any late payments will incur a $75 late fee. No late payments will be accepted after November 30.  Anyone who has not paid by November 30 will be responsible for their own snow removal.

If you have any problems, we request that you contact the Treasurer or the Roads And Grounds board member.

Slash Removal fund contribution

The Slash Removal Fund allows the Pinehaven Planning Board to pay for the pickup of small quantities of slash, to  minimize the fire danger and keep Pinehaven looking good.  Your financial support helps us put more money toward the roads.

Payment: Please include your Slash Removal Fund contribution on the Pinehaven and North Pinehaven Contributions Form with your Snowplow Fund Contribution.  Your check should be mailed to the address on the form.
